Homemade pulled pork burger with coleslaw salad and bbq sauce

Make your way down to Port Royal, South Carolina Friday, February 23 and Saturday, February 24 for the ninth annual Bands Brews & BBQ! Do not miss out on two days of food, music and fun with barbeque, craft beers, live music and kids activities. And to top it off, the event benefits Friends of Caroline HOSPICE.

You can catch different events all weekend long! On Friday night, experience a Wing Throw Down from 6:00-9:00 p.m. to sample wing recipes from participating cookers while enjoying live music from local bands, a Kids Fun Zone and much more! If you have a real taste for barbeque, you do not want to miss out on Saturday! From noon to 4:00 p.m., come taste award-winning BBQ from cook teams across the Southeast. In addition to the food, enjoy entertainment from four different bands while your children play in the Kids Zone Area. Visitors will get to sample some of the best barbecue our area has to offer. The event will take place rain or shine!

General admission passes are available online in advance for $10, children ages 12 and under are free.

The sampling of wings Friday night and BBQ Saturday will be available for by purchasing tickets for $1. Beer, soda and wine will be available for purchase.
